This roadster also includes a folding black convertible top that stows neatly under the rear deck, and seals up quite well. Theres definitely something magic about a 427 in a Corvette. This one is the numbers-matching L36, and thanks to hydraulic lifters, its a remarkably docile beast when youre tooling around town, but snarls and roars through the side pipes when youre gunning it. Its dressed for show, with Chevy Orange on the block and valve covers, a chrome air cleaner, and a correct shielded ignition system. Blue stripe hoses with proper tower hose clamps, reproduction decals, and correct original-style hardware gives this car an edge on the show field. Its remarkable how much room the side pipes free up underneath, but it gives you a great view of the nearly flawless floors. The suspension has been fully rebuilt, the disc brakes at all four corners still grab like they should, and it has a great look with gold-stripe tires on steel wheels with spinner hubcaps.
