This car was bought by my father around 1967 and he put it away along with other cars in a barn. We just got it out after all these years. It was driven in there, but obviously after all these years, it wasn't driven out. It will need to be restored, is not running. It will have to be transported, which we'll be glad to help you with if you live in an area we cover - we transport vehicles mostly between New England and Arkansas. The car is quite straight and solid, but it will need some bodywork, especially the rockers and the rear fenderwells. The interior is still there but old. The engine is a Kaiser engine, according to the man who sold it to my father. He told me that when he got the car in 1967, it needed an engine so he put the Kaiser in. This car even has an AC unit in it! Must have been a very fancy car for that period!
Vermont never issued titles back then, and still doesn't for vehicles over 15 years old. You can, however, register the car here in Vermont, no matter where you live. I can help you with this. That way, you will be able to prove ownership to your state or country and you should be able to get the paperwork you'll need. The cost is just $16 for an antique vehicle, plus a 6% tax.
