| Vehicle Description |
| The 68 Gran Sport 400 was well received when it was first introduced because Buick kept its price increases modest, assembly quality high and offered the most luxurious muscle car on the market without making any sacrifices in performance. It benefited from a 400ci (340hp) V8 four barrel that delivered strong seat of the pants performance without the normal problems associated with high output engines of the day. This numbers matching car had its engine rebuilt 5,000 miles ago and hooks up beautifully with its crisp shifting Turbo 400 tranny transferring all of those ponies to ground via a Positraction rear end. In addition to retaining its numbers matching driveline it also has a long list of factory options which include a power top, power steering, power brakes, power drivers seat (up and down not working), remote drivers side exterior mirror, factory seat belts with chrome retractors and an AM radio (not working). Additionally, this car has been thoroughly serviced and received all of the following within the last year; a new 2.25” full exhaust from the manifolds back, 4 new heavy duty shocks, all new brakes (including a new master cylinder and a new power brake booster), a complete tune up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor and points), a front end alignment, a new gas tank, a new fuel pump, a new fuel filter, the Quadra jet carb was also completely rebuilt and you will also find a brand new heater core in the trunk (needs installing). In addition to the all of the mechanical work this car also just got a brand new GM convertible top with a glass rear window, new padding, a new boot and a new cable and spring set. You will also find new chrome rally rims with black inserts, new center caps with tri-shield emblems, new Goodyear Eagle GT 2 tires, new door sill plates, a new center arm rest, new chrome bucket seat moldings with end caps, new carpeting, new door panels, new gas and brake pedals, a new hounds tooth trunk mat, a restored jack and handle, new tire hold down equipment, a freshly re-chromed grill as well as the front and rear bumpers, all new lenses, new tail lights, new signal markers, and new decals. You can see a great deal of attention has been put into making this a truly turn key car that needs nothing but a new home. This is an above average car with an asking price of an average car so do not wait to contact us as it might be too late!
