1934 Cadillac Model 355D Sedan, This 1934 Cadillac Sedan-4 Door-5 Passenger Series 20 Model 355D Style No 34-659, has a wheelbase of 136 inches, and weighs 4,825 lbs., and is one of only 2,729 produced, at a cost of $2695. It has been repainted in the correct Thessalon Green (#23367). It has the original tan broadcloth interior (#19 T 134) and Black Roof/Top (#20488). It has the optional chrome moldings and Goddess hood ornament (A-1095). It is equipped with the flathead 353 cu. in. 130 HP V-8, and 3-speed manual transmission, and was the first production car with independent front suspension. The mileage of 78,422 is believed to be correct judging from the condition of the interior, and the excellent driving characteristics. The original glass is nearly perfect. The chrome, grill, and stainless are in excellent condition. New tires have been installed, and the wheels painted the original color of Ski Green. This full Classic runs, shifts and drives like a Cadillac should. Purchased from a collector in South Dakota, who had purchased it from an eighty year old gentleman in Springfield, IL. He had bought it from the original owner’s estate in St. Louis, MO eleven years ago. It has obviously been well maintained, driven very sparingly, and kept covered and garaged. $52,500
