DESCRIPTION
Ive owned this car since 1987 & it has 24,000 miles on it since the frame off restoration in 2005. 1955 is my favorite year because of the distinctive Ferrari style grille. I used Dupont metallic base coat, clear coat paint and let it set for 3 days. Over the next three weeks I buffed it until all I achieved a brilliant shine. The paint is in very good condition because the car is always waxed and stored inside a locked garage.
The 350 CI engine & 350 Turbo Hydramatic automatic trans were overhauled. Equipment includes a four barrel Quadrojet carb & an HEI distributor. Air conditioning is under dash & uses R-12 so its very cold. The AC condenser came from a 1975 Monte Carlo & its huge which contributes to cold AC. The AC fan shroud was custom built and allows the use of AC during the hottest Tucson days. Disc brakes in the front, drum brakes in the rear, with 605 Power Steering. The car is always stored inside and waxed. Radio is aftermarket with cd player. Glass and chrome are excellent.
