If you love the Willys profile but dont care for the pro-street style, check out the ultra-modern 41 Willys coupe. Bolted together by the talented crew at Kenny Davis Hot Rods, built quality is second to none. The fiberglass Outlaw body features smoothed seams, laser straight panels and a hood that has been narrowed and lowered approximately two inches. Paint is a union of House of Kolor Sunset Pearl and Cinnamon Pearl divided by a custom graphic that recreates the look of brushed aluminum. Up front, Mini Cooper headlights are seamlessly blended into the bulging Willys front fenders. All glass is show quality with a light layer of tint covering the side and rear windows. Out back, the sloping back end features two small round tailights at the corners. Under that custom hood lies a 555 cubic inch V8 built by Pro Modified legend Jim Oddy. Featuring some of the best parts available, the engine fires immediately and sounds capable of leaving most cars with a bloody nose. Backing the beastly V8 is a Jerry Lovell-prepped TH400 automatic transmission that transfers power to a Ford 9 inch rear end. The front is supported by a painted Heidts sub frame with polished A-arms and a manual rack and pinion steering setup. The back features a polished adjustable four link with matching coilovers. Brakes are Wilwood four-wheel discs hiding behind the 18"/20" Budnik wheel combo. Behind those shaved doors, a custom interior is covered in rich caramel brown and flattened orange. With air conditioning, a custom stereo with a 10" subwoofer, Classic Instruments gauges, a Billet Specialties steering wheel and a B&M shifter, every piece of the interior is show ready.
