| 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air, Hard top, to first look at this car, it appears all original, except the wheels, start it up and the difference is noticeable. 3" exhaust is coupled to a 2006 LS2 Corvette, all aluminum motor with about 475 HP, all the changes are as follows: Engine and Engine Compartment: 2006 GTO LS2 and Four speed over drive transmission with 3,600 miles. Modified stock GTO wiring harness and computer with wireless throttle control. Street and performance powder coated headers with 3 inch stainless steel exhaust with x box Magnaflow mufflers. Air mobile custom built aluminum radiator/condenser/fans/power steering tank and radiator overflow tank/ core support. Custom Injector covers.Fresh air tube to driver side fender well. Engine cradle sectioned 2 inches to enable the LS2 to sit low in the engine compartment. A/C compressor and power steering pump hidden under engine, no exposed belts hoses or wires. Factory GTO engine mounts adapted to frame to lessen engine vibrations. Re-worked computer. Very Quick. Body and Paint: Body off the frame build car. PPG base coat, clear coat with pearl white two tone, custom mixed to match red interior. California smoothed bumpers front and rear. Nomad wagon rear bumper. all emblems and front spears removed. Complete new tinted glass. All stainless steel polished. All chrome replanted. Interior: Cedilla interior and carpet kit. Hot rod gauge package. Pete stainless steel dash. Chrome door trim. Custom center console, DVD player- amps 5000 watts. Chassis/Suspension: Darryl Smith custom four link coil over adjustable rear suspension. Narrowed ford 9 inch with 3:73 gear/Posi 36 Spline. Heidt's tubular upper and lower arms. Two inch drop spindles. Two inch drop springs. Front sway bar. Front and rear bear 11 inch cross drilled rotors/power brakes. Boyd Coddington 18 and 17 inch wheels. just shortener rear end & put 18x11 rims under it with 285x40 drag radials, & did not tub it, and 17x8 in front with new 225x40 matching tires Relocated center fuel tank. Neoprene bushings. Rear lights are L.E.D. Rear Sway bar. Power brakes with adjustable valves. This car is a frame off car that had NO rust!!! Not any body filler at all, it is painted in original style color, red and white, with house of colors red and white. Light pearl added to the clear coat. This is not a trailer queen, but was built to drive. even though the bottom of car is show quality,the trunk was done to look like the interior, It drives like a new Corvette. As seen in the pictures, the bottom of the car is in show quality. You could take a 3,000 mile trip with no worries.
