1964 Pontiac GTO 2 door post car. One of only 7384 that were built. It is a smoke free car with 71,700 original miles. The car has PHS documentation and receipts as to a lot of the parts that were bought and the work that was done. It is a real GTO. The car is Grenadier Red, paint code V with a Black interior. The interior is new consisting of new seat padding/springs, headliner, carpet and rear package tray. The car has power steering, new front disc brakes conversion, new heavy-duty springs, shocks and bushings. It has a Muncie M-21, wide ratio 4-speed transmission w/ a posi 3:55 rear end. The motor is original with a 78XW code. The original four-barrel was replaced with a correct and rebuilt tri-power unit. The motor was rebuilt at about 66,000 miles, to factory specs and a Ram Air III cam was added. The motor compartment and the underneath of the car are clean and real nice, no rust. The car has Flowmaster mufflers and stock manifolds, no headers. It sounds really nice. The car was completely stripped down to bare metal and repainted w/ 3 coats of factory correct Grenadier Red paint and 3 coats of clear. I also have pictures of the paint process that show what was done. The side panels are laser straight. There is no rust and no panels were replaced. The front and rear bumpers have been rechromed and new hood scoops were added. At the time of the painting, the window fuzzies and all weather stripping was replaced with the exception of the vent windows. (4) brand new T-3 headlights were installed and new front directional signal lenses. All work great including dash, glove box and factory installed retracting trunk light. Also the back-up lights. The car has a steering column mounted red-white and blue Don Garnets tack as well as under the dash mounted Auto Meter oil pressure, volt and water temp mounted in Marshal gauge cups, pointed toward the driver. The clock was rebuilt with quarts movement and it works great. The factory radio was replaced with a Custom Auto Sound am-fm radio. There is a power retractable antenna mounted in the right quarter panel. New seat belts w/ retractors. The car has the original custom spinner full hubcaps on 14 Red Line belted tires plus a set of smaller dog dish caps. It also will be sold with a 2nd set of custom chrome wheels w/new tires. I will also give the buyer, as part of the deal, all my extra Pontiac parts consisting of a lot of engine parts, 3 blocks (non-hi-performance), pistons, valve covers etc. and other stuff. Take it all. I have many receipts and paperwork to show what was done to this car. This car is super nice, runs great and needs nothing. You will look a long time to find a GTO this nice. My price is firm, I dont want to haggle and I do not want to trade for anything. You can check the pricing at NADA to see pricing. I can send pictures but only if you are truly interested in buying this car. Also, I do not need a 2nd party to sell this car for me or to advertise it for me. Contact me if you have the cash and are interested. Thanks
