| Vehicle Description |
1957 Chevrolet Resto Mod
This 57 started life as a 210 2 door with a 283 with a Powerglide Transmission. But a body off the frame restoration turned this car into one of the nicest 57's in the country.
The frame, floorpans, trunk are all done in show quality fashion. I like the underneath of this car better than the top because it shows the quality fo the build. No cut corners, no expense spared.
The car was painted 2 years ago in Tangelo Orange Lacquer with a white top that is show quality. The stainless, aluminum and chrome is all NEW and is show quality. The glass is in excellent condition and the fit and finish is excellent also.
The interior has been done in a orange and black tweed, the carpet is a heavy pile. The headliner, door panels and dash are all in excellent condition.
This car is now powered by a new GM crate 350 with a 350 Turbo Trans shifted by a Lokar shifter. Options include Power disc brakes, manual steering, flowmaster exhaust that sounds quiet but powerful. The engine compartment is full of billet and chrome parts that add just the right amount of "Bling" but very tastefully done.
Riding on Kumho 245/40/20's on the rear and 205/40/18's on the front with Satin finish Coy wheels. The stance and attitude of the car is the perfect look for this street custom that would be the hit of any cruise in or car show.
I know I've used the adjectives of Excellent and Show Quality over and over but there is no other way to describe this rolling piece of art. |
