I am selling my nice 1948 mercury convertible, built from an original mercury convertible, rust, bondo free, in San Diego in 1987. In 1989 the car won the Grand National Roadster Show modified convertible class, was on the cover of street rodder and center fold. June 1989. This car was never washed with cold water, only warm water in a pan, no clear coat on car. The paint is Ferrari red, top , bottom, total frame off build, as you see in pictures, many body modifications, front sheet metal cut back six inches, hood pan caked, frenched head lights, tail lights. Top chopped four inches, electric doors, windows, trunk, hidden hinges, hand made rolled dash, console, tilt wheel.
