Typically referred to as a "Highboy", these hot-rods were all the rage and still have a strong following among the Motor-Head faithful. Choosing to lay down this ten-mile deep base-coat clear-coat of black over the Be Bop Glass Works fiberglass body was a no brainer when it came to presentation. The true stroke of genius came when choosing to paint the driveline, frame and Vintique Smoothie wheels in high contrast red. It accentuates and defines the lower half of this classic and truly commands your full attention. Under a hand fabricated metal hood lays a Ford Motorsports 351 crate motor complete with Holley carb, aluminum intake, MSD billet distributor and a requisite pair of Sanderson headers for that oh so fine look and sound. Taking up the slack is a three-speed C4 automatic spinning the hits to a 9" Ford rear end. When it comes to 32 Highboys the real "Ace card" visually has to be the unique and elaborate suspensions they employ. One look underneath confirms our 32 is well endowed in that area with a fully chromed Super Bell drop axle four-link front end complete with chromed Pete and Jakes shocks up front and chromed four-link rear suspension complete with polished Alden adjustable coil overs bringing up the rear. This entire chromed and polished work of engineering is hung off a custom two inch totally boxed frame from Street Rod Garage featuring a triple cross-beam chassis as its capable backbone.
