 Vehicle Description
Stk. 1858 1965 Volkswagen Beetle
After just one walk around this black beauty, any died in the wool VW enthusiast will confirm its coolness. With a seriously deep and glossy skin of two-stage, base-coat clear- coat laid down over a laser-straight, rust-free shell three years ago, this lowered, chrome-wheeled Bug is the epitome of badness. With sparkling chromed bumpers and unique ribbed rocker panels you can appreciate the attention to detail that was paid to this build. One look at the cannon-sized extractor exhaust tells part of the story. Lift its custom louvered engine cover and youll discover the rest of its secrets; a massaged 2,110 cc four cylinder sporting dual-port heads, twin DCOE Weber carburetors and a four-speed Freeway Flyer transaxle with competition Scat shifter. In keeping with its bad-boy image, the pleated black vinyl interior does not disappoint. Highlighting the dashboard are a full compliment of black-face Vee Three gauges, Alpine Kenwood stereo, heated seat switches and very tasty Grant three-spoke rosewood steering wheel. The powder-coated undercarriage which supports an aluminum front axle beam along with aluminum hubs front and rear and four-wheel disc brakes is almost as beautiful to look at as the body itself. Trust me when I say, if you lock horns with this hombre on the street be beware for this truly a wolf in sheeps clothing!
