1940 Chevy Special Deluxe coupe.

This is a must see, "Time capsule" street rod built in California in the late 60''s by a meticulous Porsche mechanic. He bought the car in the late 50''s. It was said to have been in the American Graffiti movie as a back drop vehicle, I can''t verify that but we have a couple of autographs from Bo Hopkins and Candy Clark.

This car looks like it could have came out of Rod and Customs or Hot Rod magazine from about 1965.

This is a rust free California car with a 40 plus year old Black lacquer paint job that is more than presentable. The exterior is arrow straight and bondo free! Custom interior with bucket seats, chromed dash and garnish moldings. Again, a period correct car. The chassis is as detailed as the rest of the car featuring a chrome, dropped, straight axle on polished 4 bars with Corvair steering. GM rear axle on leaf springs.

An early 283 V-8 with a solid cam and Muncie 4 speed and 4:11 gears. !!!
