1950 Chrysler New Yorker Highlander 4 door Sedan
My Mom and Dad bought this beauty new in 1950, right off the show room floor. She was only used for errands and a Sunday drive up the mountain. My Mom had her put up on blocks in the garage in 1970, because Dad couldn''''t drive any more and she never learned how. She has always been garaged.
Now, this car has not had any restoration done, a little work on the engine to get her to run. Yes she DOES Run. Now being that the ole gal is 66 years old, she needs a bit of a face lift here and there.
The transmission is a Hydra-Flow, that needs a little TLC, and she shifts on the column, but it will drive you down the road. The original seat upholstery has always been covered with custom made seat covers, Mom said they cost a $150.00, back in the day.
