For sale in our Orlando showroom is a 1955 Buick Century. The Century was introduced in 1954 as a performance variant for the Buick lineup. A light weight body and a 322CID V8 were the main ingredients used to create a well powered easy handling vehicle. This fine 1955 Century is quite the sight, repainted in its original green and white color scheme it??s a real head turner. The previous owner of this vehicle re built the front end at the time of restoration and chromed out the engine bay to update the appearance. Under the hood is the 322CID Buick Nail Head V8 equipped by Buick with a 4 barrel carb backed up by the Buick version of the TH400 known as the ST400. These Centuries were built by Buick to run 100mph also known as the century mark. From the factory the Century could be a very well equipped vehicle that could rival a Cadillac such as ours. Our example comes with power seats, power windows, and power antenna which were all very high end options for this time period. The exterior of this car shows incredibly well and with all of the iconic Buick traits such as the 4 port holes on the fenders. Big chrome wire wheels wrapped in white wall tires help finish the big 50??s cruiser look on this road yacht. This is a very fine example of the Buick marquee and will definitely add value to any enthusiast collection or would just be a great alternative to the run of the mill tri five chevy.
