 Vehicle Description
1956 Chevrolet 2 Door HardtopFrom the factory the classic 1956 Chevrolet 2 door Hardtop had a timeless look that will forever be a favorite of classic car hobbyists. The body lines, tail fins, and chrome all work together to create a look all its own. Well this 1956 Chevrolet takes things one step further by incorporating multiple resto mod customizations that really project the car to the next level. One look at the car and you know it is a top shelf show car. Coated in a Laser Blue paint with subtle ghost flames the car really stands out next to your standard two tone with white color style. The paint work was beautifully done and the color really grabs your attention out in the sun. All of the exterior chrome and trim is cleanly mounted and has a brilliant finish. Subtle features like removing the original emblem set up and cutting it back to only the V may not stand out initially but all add up to explain what it so different about this car when you park it next to others. Even the rear taillight lenses have subtle customizations like incorporating the bowtie symbol. It is one of those cars where the closer you look, the more you fall in love with it. 16 inch Eagle Alloy wheels sit under each corner of the car and are all wrapped with fresh radial tires. We have all seen those cars that wow you from the exterior but let you down when you pop the hood. Well under the hood of this beautiful custom is better described as a work of art then a motor. The 350 Chevy small block engine has been completely covered with chrome as was practically everything from the firewall forward. A custom bat wing style air cleaner sits up top with everything from the firewall to the radiator hose being accented with the same ball milled style billet work. In the right light you may have to pass out sunglasses and issue a warning before opening the hood because there is so much billet work. It is truly a showstopper. The car also comes with a custom cover for covering the front of the radiator at shows. Underneath all of the chrome the motor was built up with all top of the line components insuring that it performs just as good as it looks. Some of the component includes the Edelbrock carburetor, Edelbrock manifold, full MSD ignition, tuned exhaust with ceramic coated headers, an auxiliary cooling fan and more! It doesn't end there though! Look up and you will note that even the under hood area is incredibly clean and topped with a custom pad. Behind the motor is a Turbo Hydro 3 speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly with no problems. The interior of the car is complete in a combination of Black leather and Black cloth which looks really sharp. The bucket seats sit nicely in place to each side of a custom console and incorporate very clean French stitching. Custom Redwood pieces grace the console and work perfectly to break up the Black and add a touch of class. In the console you will find cupholders, extra storage space, and the B&M polished shifter. Billet pieces are also incorporated into the dash where you would find the original bowtie style trim. Dakota Digital gauges were added and fit perfectly into the original style bezel. A polished tilt column sits in front of the drivers seat and is topped with an aftermarket billet steering wheel. An Alpine AM/FM/CD player is in place with an amp and Infinity speakers to deliver an awesome sound. The Vintage Air AC system blows cold and utilizes custom mounted vents to give a much cleaner look then your typical underdash unit. The trunk of the car is finished just as nicely as the rest and houses the spare and hidden remote mounted battery. Check out the car in person and you won't be able to walk away. It combines beauty and performance in a way that only a custom tri five Chevy can. You couldn't come close to building one like it for $63,250.00!NOW REDUCED DOWN TO $47,500.00!
