For the Trans Am enthusiasts, we have here a 1979 Pontiac Transam finished in Red Exterior Paint with Red Vinyl Interior.
"It will not pass this way again" were the words cited by Car and Driver Magazine concerning the 1979 Trans Am. It definately would not pass that way again and they went down in style. The appeal of the Trans Am is understandable: in 1979, more than 117,000 Trans Ams were built and they were one of the few cars of the late 1970's that had any appeal to the generation that was coming of age in that era. Today, they represent good looks and solid performance without the "Break the Bank" cost of some of the Most Pedigreed Muscle Cars.

This is not a vehicle that we usually carry, as we carry high quality cars. This car was traded in by a local police officer for another vehicle, his mother had purchased this 79 Trans Am brand new. This is a Nice Car, not a high quality restoration, but a nice daily driver that runs well and does look good. It has had a partial repaint, but has not been fully restored. If someone wanted, they could choose to drive this on a daily basis, cruise around in it for fun or even restore it for a show stopper. It is up to the purchaser.
