NARRATIVE
Exceptionally well restored and detailed example of one of the most highly desirable performance cars produced during an era in which the “big block” muscle car reigned supreme.
Below is a comprehensive list of the many new, rebuilt and reconditioned components of this beautiful, legendary automobile. All work was launched / completed with reliability, performance and re-marketability in mind.….nothing overlooked. While most of the restoration spending on this virtually rust free, Texas-based car was done less than 3 years ago, over $16,000 has been spent during the past 15 months to significantly enhance that original, high quality restoration.
This car starts with exceptional ease, sounds absolutely awesome at idle and operates well within a resonable temperature range during 100+ degree Southern California summer days. Its advanced stage of tune and upgraded power disk braking system ensure a combination of spirited acceleration and appropriately predictable stopping power.
This car was originally shipped from the factory with a 383 CI, 4 BBL, 330 HP engine and a 4-speed transmission. It was optioned with a heater/defroster, a whopping 2-watt AM radio and back-up lights. Easily decodable VIN and fender tags are correctly affixed to the car.
This car would disappoint no suitably discriminating buyer. Please consider the following restoration details and snapshots.
