A ZZ 502 / 502 hp crate engine under the hood with March brackets and pulleys, and HD radiator and dual electric fans to keep it cool. A built 700R4 auto overdrive transmission with shift kit with column shift. Rear end is a Mark Williams narrowed and modified 12 bolt GM with posi. Power four wheel disc brakes (GM front and Wilwood rear). Power steering with a 502 gear box. Dual exhaust with ceramic coat headers. Suspension is provided through front Air Ride with Heidt's tubular control arms and rear 4 link with Koni coil overs. In the body off restoration, the chassis was modified to a rear ladder bar type to accommodate the tub work, and then powder coated in gray. The floor pans are clean and painted in semi-gloss black. Fuel is provided by an electric pump and urethane sump fuel tank between the rear frame rails. To keep it all on the straight and narrow, it is fitted with 15" Weld wheels and Hoosier Pro Street tires (rears are 31 X 18.5 R 15). There are 913 miles on this build out.
