With a 340 CI 4 speed 4 barrel carb that is fresh off a complete professional rotisserie restoration that has less than 200 miles, this GTS convertible is better than showroom fresh!

A 1968 GTS convertible with a 340 and 4 speed transmission is a very rare car. There were only 44 of these beauties produced by Dodge in 1968.

This GTS convertible is listed in the 1967 and 1968 GTS registry as car number 544 and has been shown at the prestigious con cours delegance invitational held in Hilton Head, NC.

During the restoration process, the GTS was completely disassembled and the reassembly took hundreds of man hours with attention to detail evident through out. No expense was spared on this very special GTS and it shows.

The complete suspension system, brakes, fuel and steering system were either rebuilt or replaced. The original rear-end with the 3.23 sure grip (Posi) was rebuilt to better than new specifications as well as the 340 motor and the 4 speed transmission. Although the motor and transmission are not original to the car, they are period correct with the cast date on the 340 coded to be June 23, 1967 and the cast date on the 4 speed transmission to be that of August 1967.

When viewing the GTS, you will quickly see the attention to detail. All fender, door, trunk and hood gaps line up beautifully as they should. The engine compartment and underside of this car are as detailed as the interior as well.

The burgundy metallic paint with the white interior and white convertible top is absolutely gorgeous!! Dodge could only wish that they had had the time to assemble a car to this level of detail. It is a pleasure to drive with the power convertible top and power steering with disc brakes and it drives as Dodge intended, straight, tight and smooth.
