THIS CAR IS A VERY NICE DRIVER ( OR AS SOME SAY A DAILY DRIVER ). IT WOULD BE A GREAT CAR TO ENJOY CLUB TRIPS OR CRUISING.
This auction is for a 1953 FORD CUSTOMLINE CLUB COUPE. the car is equiped with a V-8 ENGINE. The colors on the car are Two tone's of Blue and this matches the build plate. The car has gone thru a complete frame on restoration. The paint is in very nice condition. I did not see any paint chips, scratches or dents. the car does have bondo in some of the lower area's on both sides of the car. The interior of the car including the door panels appear to be original. The seats has the correct material on them. Both the front and rear seats has the 1950's FINGERHUT PLASTIC SEAT COVERS ON THEM. The headliner is in excellent condition. There is no problems with any of the glass in the car. The vehicle has an automatic transmission, which has been completely rebuilt. the car does not overheat and has been in some parade's on some very hot days. the car shows 58,000 miles and and could very well be actual. the car has all new belts, hoses, and tires. In addition to the CONT KIT, there is both the face shown on the kit and an open face ring that shows the hubcap. The car has fender skirts installed. The V-8 engine has been completely rebuilt and serviced every two thousand miles. the engine compartment has been detailed and has all the proper decals. All of the chrome is in excellent condition with no dents, dings, scratches, or rust. The radio and all guages work, however the clock does not. To make the car safer for highway travel all new brake lines and cylinders were installed along with a DUAL MASTER CYLINDER.
In the glove compartment is the original instruction manual, the original bill of sale. from a FORD DEALER IN MEDIANA, OHIO. There are some original Ford ad's for 1953.
