 Vehicle Description
Just Toys Classic Cars is very proud to present this beautiful 1967 For Fairlane GT. This car is all numbers matching as you will see in the pics and it has a very unique story behind it. This car has had one restoration, but this miles are all original to the car. It has not rolled over. Now, imagine yourself working the line at the Ford plant in 1967, and the newest batch of Fairlanes start coming down the line, and your build sheet says that it is supposed to be Maroon. There is just one problem, you are out of Maroon. Do you want to be the guy that tells the plant foreman that you have to shut down the entire plant for the day because your sheet says Maroon? That would have cost over $100,000 per day to do that. So, instead of being that guy, you clear your gun and shoot the color you do have that was supposed to be next, you shoot the car blue. This is really how it went down that day the car was built. Now you look in the interior and you will see how the beauty just carries on from the outside to the inside. Everything looks just like it should and it is absolutely beautiful. There are no rips or tears in the seats or headliner, and the carpet is in great shape as well. This car folks whether inside or outside is an absolute time capsule. We have owned one of these cars before, and when this one came in to the show room, we had our own memory hook work on us. We dont sell classic cars, we restore memories. We had some good memories about one of these cars for sure. We took it from a daily driver to a full on balk halved 10 second race car. Speaking of horsepower you just have to pop the hood on this baby and instantly fall in love with the blue oval horsepower of the 390 under the hood. This motor may not be a 10 second motor, but it makes more than enough power to put a permanent ear to ear grin on your face. This is matted to a 4 speed transmission and the clutch is right and tight on this ride as well. Front disc brakes bring everything to a halt in a hurry if you need to. They are not soft like some old cars are. These are adjusted very well. This is just an awesome car to look at, listen to, and absolutely drive. They didnt make many of these cars to begin with much less in this combination, and with the story behind it about the color, this is just a rare car that you have to own. Give us a call today and let us show you how cool this car is and how easy it is to take home. We offer classic car financing for those that would like to take advantage of it. We look forward to speaking with you soon and making you the newest member of the Just Toys Classic Cars family.
