This 1956 Nomad was just completed in March of 2013. Professionaly built by Elite Rods and Restoration. No expense was spared to complete this project which took 2 1/2 years. Paint by PPG GM Crystal Red and Chrysler Light Greystone. Engne is a LS1 with matching 4L60E transmission. Custom Fuel Tank with an internal fuel pump by Rock Valley.The rear end is a 9" ford 4 Link. Wilwood Disc Brakes, Ididit Column, Lokar Shifter, 4 Corner Air-ride with Level Ride. Front Tires are 215-45-ZR17 and the Rear Tires are 275-35-ZR20. Complete Custom Dash with Dakota Digital VHX Gauge System. It is equipped with a Pioneer Stereo with Video Monitor and a 100 Watt Amp, Polished Aluminum Drive Shaft. All the exhaust was ceramic coated with polished stainless mufflers. Custom Leather interior by Twin City Upholstery. All the glass was replaced with matching tint. Vintage Air and Heat. All the Chrome on the car is original and has been replated, the stainless is also original and has all been reconditioned and polished. It took over 4000 man hours to complete and the total cost was over $238,000. I have a complete photo record of building this car from start to finish plus I have a file with most of all the receipts for everything purchased.
