DESCRIPTION

1970 Challenger R/T Early Build (Oct 69) car, 49,800 miles, #60 of 158 in Galens Registry for Hamtramck, 440- 4 bbl, 375 HP. Drive train original to car except block which is casting number and date perfect,EB7 Medium Blue Metallic Paint, A727 TorqueFlite (original to car), 8.75 inch Rear,Sure-Grip w/3.23 gears (original to car), 14 inch Rallye Wheels w/F70 Good Year Polyglas (show tires) + set of new BFG Radials on 15 inch Rallyes (driving tires), Front Power Disc Brakes, Power Steering, S/E Molding Group, Stripe Delete, Black Vinyl Top, Hood Pins, A/C, AM Radio, Vinyl Buckets, Console.

The car was professionally restored back to the way it left Detroit in 1969 right down to the inspection marks & correct bolt head markings with rare exception. Every piece of the car was restored no part or assembly was left without rebuild, replacement or restoration. Pics of the restoration are here: http://www.speedospaintandbody.com/70-challenger.html

The engine was re-rebuilt in 2015 due to an incorrectly hardened Mopar Performance fuel push rod and has less than 200 miles on it. Full documentation of the restoration is available with the car.

This Mopar was the Hemmings Muscle Machines Restoration Profile in Oct 2012 https://www.hemmings.com/magazine/mus/2012/10/1970-Dodge-Challenger-R-T/3717211.html and the NAPA auto parts Calendar Car in November 12. It was also featured on Wild About Cars and was Mopar Heritage Newsletters 9/2015 feature.

994/1000 points Street Stock Class at Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in 2014. Car is an 2015 AACA Grand National Senior Car (4 National Wins) and a National Chrysler Products Club National Best in Show winner. 2016 Good-Guys East Coast Nationals best restored winner. Many National wins - see list in the pics. This is among the finest restored 1970 Challengers in the country as evidenced by the win list.

I am asking $84,900 or best reasonable offer. Car will go to Mecum Harrisburg if not sold privately.
