You're looking at an "Amazing" rust free / all original body panel 1971 Pontiac GTO * The GTO "Legend" started in 1964 when the Goat hit the streets of America.
This GTO was built at the Fremont California assembly plant, then moved to Bell Pontiac in Pampa Texas where is was sold & remained until around 3 years ago. A copy of the original "Window Sticker" - "Original Build Sheet" & "PHS" report is rock solid proof this GTO is the "Real Deal"
The "Rust Free" laser straight body has had only "1" repaint in the original & very rare Nordic Silver & shows excellent. The Judge stripes over the wheel wells were added for a little flair, but can easily be removed if you so desire. The frame, floors & trunk are also original & "Rust Free" in amazing condition.
The Black bucket seat / console interior is basically all original aside from a new headliner / carpet & is also in excellent condition.
For icing on the cake, this GTO has it's "All Numbers Matching" driveline. The original "YS" code "L78" engine was treated to a professional rebuild in 2009 & runs fantastic. It received a .030 over-bore to true everything up & the compression was bumped up from smog friendly 8.2 to a tire burning 10.0.1 * The cam shaft was also upgrade to "Ram Air IV" specs. While the engine was out the original TH400 received a Pro-build which included a shift kit & new converter. Yes I have the receipts to back up this claim.
While the above mention was going on, the entire front end was rebuild to include a "New" steering box, pump & lines. "All" new brakes & suspension pieces were replaced. A "Complete" new exhaust went on with the correct "Splitter" nickel plated tips. Naturally new radial tires were added to the Rally II rims. Well, well over 30k has been invested.
Options include: N41 Power steering, JL2 Power disc brakes, M40 Turbo hydramatic transmission, U63 Am radio, D55 Console, B96 Wheel opening moldings, A01 Soft-Ray glass, C60 Air-conditioning. Dealer installed Rear Deck Spoiler & Hood Tach that works great. Am/Fm CD stereo with Remote Control was added to where the original factory 8 track would of been.
This is about as close to a full on frame-off restoration you're liable to find. It's "Not Too Late" to get get on board & "Own A Great American Legend - the GTO" that'll serve you well for many years to come.
