| Vehicle Description |
| MotoeXotica is offering another awesome 1961 Ford Thunderbird convertible! This car comes with the tonneau sports package which is a fiberglass cover over the rear seats that really make this car look great with the top down. The floors and frame are both solid with no rot to be found. The body is very straight with no bubbles or rot anywhere. The dog dish hubcaps are all in great shape with no curb rash to be found. They are wrapped with P205/75 R15 radials that have good tread life left on them. This is an awesome Thunderbird that has tons of life left in it and is ready for any summer day. Put the top down and bring back memories of your past and make new ones today. The VIN is 1Y73Z141978 and this car is being sold on a mileage exempt Illinois title. Current mileage shows 83,933 and is believed to be actual but we have no documentation to prove this. GET OUT AND DRIVE! The paint on the car is newer and in great condition with no major imperfections to speak of. There are some minor chips in the paint. The soft top is very nice and appears to be newer as well. No rips or major staining to be found on the top. The fiberglass tonneau sports cover is in great. Both front and rear bumpers are in great condition with no major imperfections. There is some minor scratches and pitting to both bumpers but they still retain a great shine. All top functions and rear deck lid functions work fine with no problems. Inside the purple and white cloth seats show no wear, rips or tears, and are in excellent condition. As is the covered dash and carpets. The original radio has been replaced with a Thunderbird AM/FM/Cassette player. An aftermarket "Superpro" tachometer has been added. Both of the custom door panels look very nice with no cracks or stains showing. The power windows go up and down smoothly. All of the glass looks great. The power top also functions well. With the touch of the button on the drivers door the top retracts into the truck out of sight. The 390 Cu In V8 runs great and has no mechanical problems that we have become aware of. Power steering and power brakes work fine and the car goes down the road straight with no fade to either side under braking. |
