SOLD---SOLD---SOLD---SOLD---1960 Studebaker Lark 2-dr. Coupe---Drive it now and tweek it to make it a true expression of your tastes. This little car was the most looked at little car at a recent swap meet. It runs and drives great and has newly rebuilt brakes---wheel cylinders; shoes; new soft lines---the master cyl. was not replaced. Good glass and good looking chrome bumpers. The 5 on 4 1/2" bolt pattern w/new 15" tires at all 4 corners---PLEASE NOTE --I'll post several pics of the Lark w/other wheel and tire combos which are for staging purposes only. The 'flathead 6 cyl. Engine' runs very well and is married up to the original 3-spd. tranny which is shifted via the ole '3 on the tree' shift lever. All exterior lights and blinkers are in working order. The interior consists of bench seats front and rear and flat panel surfaces for the door/kick panels. The seats have seat covers and headliner and carpet are missing---but not a problem in today's 'rat rod world'.
Once again this little Coupe is cute, unique and nostalgic all rolled up into one little package. The floorboards are solid w/ the exception of 2 small places in the front which are presently covered w/2 license plates screwed in place covering those areas. The exterior still sports its original paint w/ loads of patina---several guys at the meet said just clear coat it and let it ride. There is just one rust-out on the body ----(the left front fender flag area)and just a few minor dings here and there. The trunk lid is solid and straight and has one 3" ribbon of rust at the right corner immediately below the chrome trim.
The car was sold new to a school teacher in Tulsa, Okla. and from what I was told she was the original and only owner of the car.
