 Vehicle Description
If youre ready to take your Mopar collection to the next level, jump into orbit with this fully restored 1966 Plymouth Satellite. One of just 503 produced with the lethal combination of a 426 HEMI and 4-speed, the cars unique hue and options list take it all the way to true 1 of 1 status. Authenticated by both Galen Govier and supported by Daimler Chrysler historical documents, this is a Plymouth you can believe in. The car spend the majority of its life on the west coast so it needed little more than trunk drop offs during its 2006 restoration. The color is Dark Red Metallic sprayed over massaged Chrysler lines. Rounded out by a roster of restored and NOS trim, the car makes a great first impression. Under the hood, the 426 HEMI reveals a proper 2468330-2 casting number as well as a 1.18.66 casting date that aligns well with the cars April build date, suggesting it to be the original power plant. That notion is supported by correct pieces throughout the engine bay including the factory dual quad intake topped by a pair of Carter four-barrels. Behind the 426, an A833 18-spline 4-speed manual transmission offers quick shifts, spinning power back to a Dana 60 with 4.10 posi. The rebuilt suspension stays true to factory form while a mix of power steering and manual drum brakes help out in the corners. Inside, the upscale interior offers a Western Scroll design across the seats and door panels while extras like the AM radio, center console, and console mounted tach round out the space.
