The 1987 Corvette is part of the four-generation (C4) 1984 to 1996 series of Corvettes and marked the first major restyling since 1968. The styling of the C4 models was more streamlined and lean than the previous generation. The 1987 Chevrolet Corvette got new roller lifters in the engine giving the engine 240 horsepower (35 more than the 1984 model). It also received aluminum heads, ABS brakes, better relays and a better steering rack than the previous C4s. This particular Vette has been well taken care and received all new plugs, wires and fuel injectors in 2008. In 2011 it received a new steering rack, all new shocks, brakes and tires. The rims were professionally polished last year as well and really set off the gloss black paint. It currently has 69,083 miles and runs out incredibly well. The A/C is in need of recharging, there is a problem with the FM radio reception and the paint does have a few minor imperfections. This 87 Vette would be the perfect choice for someone who wants a sports car but needs it to be reliable and docile enough to use as a daily driver.
