Finished in gorgeous Silver Blue with dark blue interior, this 1963 Corvette split-window coupe has undergone a just completed full body-on restoration, but remains in an incredible state of amazingly unmolested original condition. Under the hood, you will find the original alternator and carburetor on the original 327-cubic-inch V-8. The car also has all original glass, as well as interior with the exception of new carpet. It also has the extremely desirable genuine Kelsey-Hayes knock-off wheels. The 1963 split-window coupe was a one year only model, and remains one of the most desirable Corvettes ever produced. The split window was controversial from the very beginning with many GM brass opposed to it, but design chief Bill Mitchell would not compromise, telling the others, If you take that off, you might as well forget the whole thing. Today, most would agree with Mitchells sentiment. A 1963 Corvette in this condition is an extraordinarily rare find and belongs with an owner who can truly appreciate the state of preservation and originality that make this car so special.
