This matching numbers 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT has had every part either restored or replaced Powered by it''''s original, re-built 351 Cleveland 4V with original FMX automatic transmission and 9" rear w/3:25 gears, this Cyclone is very quick, and is a pleasure to drive. The engine features standard bore, new cobra style covers, a new performance HEI distributor, ram-air and breathes through an OEM style duel exhaust with Hollywood mufflers. All Suspension, Steering and Brake components have either been restored or replaced. The rear shocks are air. The original point distributor, breather parts and original valve covers are included.
The interior (seats, floor, dash, center console) is all in great condition
The interior features the optional rim blow steering wheel, optional spoiler dash gauge cluster with 8,000 RPM tach, oil pressure and temp guage, and rear window defogger. The tach works with the original point distributor, but is not yet compatible with the new HEI performance dist, so it doesn''''t function at this time.
I am asking $28,800 for this rare Mercury that comes with some original and extra parts, car cover and documentation. This car has 16,920 miles since a complete restoration.
