This is a LeMans that was started to be transformed in a GTO convertible clone. It started as a restoration project by my father in 1996 and never was finished, just tucked away in the corner of the shop. Its had new qtrs, partial passenger side floor, trunk pan, GTO endura front bumper, 1966 gto 389 engine and transmission(they both function well). My father closed up the shop about two years ago and brought this home to start tinkering with it. The car runs and drives, new power top this summer along with a new pump, new duel exhaust, all new tires, breaks including lines. It has power steering with drum brakes.
It would make a easy restoration project turned into a highly sought after 1968 GTO convertible.
It needs front seats recovered(but have new covers) and back is very usable. I think after sitting awhile it could use a carb rebuild(but it still functions okay), door panels and new carpet. It has a trunk full of parts some good some not, but they are included. If your looking to have it delivered I know a few auto transporters or I am willing to work with yours.
