This 1980 Chevrolet Corvette is a black-on-black coupe with a ton of great upgrades. But even with all this appeal, and its original 350ci V8, this superior sports coupe is still surprisingly affordable.
This coupe leaves a striking first impression. Sure, the black has a nice shine, but what it's really doing is highlighting the distinctive appearance. It has a Greenwood-style full bodykit that starts up front with a long and low nose that emphasizes the Stingray's shark-like presence. This sets up the widebody pieces that flow through the sides/fenders and meet the smooth rear panel. Plus, that additional spoiler looks like it could rival a Porsche Turbo for supremacy. And while this full black body could slip through the midnight air, it also makes the bright factory alloys standout even more.
The upgrades continue inside with updated black and gray bucket seats. These nicely coordinate with the custom door panels. Like any good Corvette of this era, this one comes loaded with power windows, power locks, tilt/telescope wheel, and provisions for an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo. For the driver, there's a comfortable wood rimmed three-spoke steering wheel. Beyond that is the large speedometer and tachometer in front, and a full gauge package prominently to the side. When you want to show the world the custom interior, you can go cruising around with the T-tops off. And because the air conditioning is blowing cold, you get to stay cool while looking cool.
Under the hood is the original, numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. It's even still topped by the correct big Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor. This is mated to the correct TH350 three-speed automatic that is always able to handle the torque this V8 can throw down. And while this has a ferocious look and a V8 heart, Chevy also built these later C3s to be great cruising cars. So the power steering, cruise control, and four-wheel disc brakes really make you want to drive this coupe every weekend.
Complete with owner's manual, you get a great appearance, upgraded interior, and original V8 prestige. It's the perfect way to get an affordable 'Vette with killer looks as aggressive as the best of them. Call today!!!
