| Vehicle Description |
| If you are looking for an amazing wagon that was a true love affair when built, you have found it. This car was just purchased from the builder/owner who put his life into it. This car took him over 4 years to build and $120,000 invested. From the custom painted Indian head on the sides, to the custom milled valve covers, this car has had every detail fine tuned and gone over. This smooth and powerful Texas Pontiac Resto Mod reflects an investment of thousands of hours and $120,000. It has covered only 900 check-out miles since its completion and is a great cruiser. The car is being sold on a mileage exempt Texas title due to age. This 1956 Pontiac Resto Mod started as a rust free Texas car. It was then put on a quality Morrison chassis combined with a muscular driveline. The all-steel shell has been smoothed and converted to a unique two-door configuration, tubbed to accept wide rubber, and then finished in a two-tone Yellow/Cream paint scheme with multi-colored accents. The car sits on air bags in the front and back that are controlled from inside the glove box. The interior is the result of thoughtful design and execution. Padded buckets, contoured door panels and fine carpeting show great craftsmanship, and tilt steering, digital gauges and Vintage A/C make for comfortable cruising. It is not often that you find a true, high horsepower pro street that you can take the entire family in. This is a true, six passenger street rod that is fun for the entire family. A 502/580 HP Computer Controlled FI crate motor provides smooth and reliable power through a Turbo Hydramatic 700R4 automatic transmission to a reinforced 4-link Ford 9-inch 4.11:1 Posi rear end, and 31x18.5 15" Hoosier tires on aluminum Weld wheels finish the sturdy driveline. Front suspension is composed of tubular upper and lower A-arms controlled by power rack amp; pinion steering and 4-wheel disc brakes. The coilover airbag suspension system is driver-controlled from inside the glove box. This car has power steer and brakes as well as ice cold vintage air. |
