1964 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE
BODY-OFF RESTORATION, 2004 - (ONLY 2,000 MILES SINCE RESTORATION!)
Done locally, Chattanooga area
Was virtually a rust-free car before restoration
Drives as good as it looks
Things to be done:
Emergency brake handle spring
Deck lid hinge bracket
Left door handle rod clip not the original; to be replaced costs less than $1
Fuel lines are not correct. But new and serviceable
Would be nice to have original German radio to replace the dashboard faceplate
There is a very slight dent on left rear fender which would prevent body being considered FLAWLESS.
