| TWO OWNER CAR WITH ONLY 36,800 ACTUAL MILES. INTERESTING HISTORY. ORIGINAL OWNER WAS AN ELDERLY MAN THAT QUIT DRIVING A FEW YEARS AFTER HE PURCHASED THE CAR. IN 1971 THE 2ND OWNER, WHO HAPPENED TO BE THE MASTER MECHANIC AT THE DEALER THIS CAR SOLD NEW AT, BOUGHT THE CAR. I AM TOLD HE WAS A VERY METICULOUS MECHANIC. HE REBUILT THE MOTOR AND THE TRANSMISSION ON THIS CAR. IT IS AN EXCELLENT RUNNING CAR. IT WAS ALSO REPAINTED IN THE EXACT FACTORY COLORS. INTERIOR AND CHROME IS ORIGINAL. ORIGINAL SHOP MANUAL. I WOULD PUT A NEW SET OF WHITEWALLS ON THIS CAR, BUFF AND DETAIL IT AND HAVE A GREAT TIME PIECE. ALL MAJOR COMPONENTS OF THIS CAR ARE NUMBERS MATCHING. THE SPINNER WHEEL COVERS ARE CORRECT FOR A FULLY OPTIONED 88, BUT THE STANDARD CAPS ARE INCLUDED. ALSO AVAILABLE IS A COLLECTION OF OTHER 56 OLDSMOBILE PARTS FROM THE DEALERSHIP INCLUDING AN ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION. ( AVAILABLE AT EXTRA COST). |
