The engine bay is exceptionally clean, having been restored 2 years ago, with all the important parts still in place. It starts with a traditional VW exhaust note, and things like a new fuel pump and rebuilt brakes are important if youre hitting the road. Its a bit grungy underneath, but theres no structural rust, which is a death sentence for these vans, and it tracks straight on the open road.
