Only 9,958 coupes were built in 1966, making this Corvette a rare collector muscle car. The styling of the 1966 Corvette was similar to the prior model with subtle changes introduced. The elongated Corvette script was added to the hood and grill. The 1965 roof vents were deleted and the knock off wheels option continued with a dull finish center cone instead of bright.
