1971 Triumph TR6 - Solid - Everything Works

This is a very nice car for cruise-ins and local car shows. The runs and drive very nicely. Six cylinder with 4 speed. Engine and transmission appear original. Code 23 Sienna Brown with tan interior.

I have stacks of receipts for work done and parts purchased for the car over the years. The restoration is a little older. The paint is older, but it shines very nicely with a great overall appearance. I take it to local cruise-ins and it looks great. Other than a small ding on the deck lid the size of a dime, there are no dents and no rust in any part of the car.

The interior is in very nice condition. The driver side seat is worn, but the passenger seat, door panels, dash, and carpet are near perfect. All of the glass appears to be original and is in nice condition.

Unlike many of the other TR6s you see for sale, everything works on this car. That includes: all gauges, all gauge lights, headlights, turn signals, brake lights, horn, parking brake, radio, heater, heater fan, wipers, interior light, hood latch, truck latch/lock, trunk light, and so on.

The cars has new tires, front brakes, rear brakes, distributor cap, rotor, petronix ignition, stainless braided oil pressure line, wiper blades, rear end rebuilt 20,000 miles ago, cleaned K&N air filters, brake booster, master cylinder, and plugs. In addition, I adjusted the valves recently, changed the oil, and checked the transmission gear oil. The new tires are Kelly 185/65/15. The new brakes include new rotors, pads, and turned brake drums.

Convertible top has a small repair spot on it that was done well, but is in very good condition with a clear rear window. The prior owner improperly put the top down causing a small tear. The repair is not noticeable unless you are looking for it. All weather strips are in nice condition.
