1966 Dodge Monaco 500. 383 4bbl V8, 727 automatic transmission. PS, PB, factory air conditioning, two tone paint, pin stripe, bumper guards, sure grip rear end, bucket seats and console. Original build sheet and certicard. This car was ordered as a sold order unit and sold to the oringinal owner on 11/24/1965. That owner lived in Knoxville, TN. This particular car has had some modifications. Due to cracked heads, they were replaced by 452 Aero Cylinder heads including a 3 angle valve job, 2.14 x 1.81 stainless steel valves, .508 lift springs and Aero Maxx components. At that time the engine was rebuilt with a Summit rebuild kit with 8.83:1 flat top pistons and included turning the crank 10-10, reconditioning the rods, a .30 over cylinder bore and the block decked. Also installed was a Mopar Purple Shaft .272/.455 camshaft. The intake manifold was replaced with a Mopar dual plane aluminum intake. The carburetor was replaced with a Carter AFB 750 single pumper with electronic choke. Also added was a Flow Kooler water pump, Mopar Electronic Ignition converion kit, double roller timing chain and an Accel Super Stock street coil with 8mm wire set. The transmission was modified with a B&M shift improver kit and a 2,300 stall converter. The final drive ratio was changed to a 3.55. The air conditioner compressor was replaced with a modern rotary unit that uses 134A refridgerant.
