| Real Shelby-built Cobra, not a replica/kit-car! This diamond black beauty is 1965 Shelby Cobra S/C CSX4813 (was ordered with stripe delete). It was manufactured by Shelby American and is part of the CSX4000 series. This car is brand new with only three miles and is still on the MSO from Shelby American (has never been titled). Interestingly this car is thought to be the only numbers-matching CSX4000 because it has Shelby FE block CSX813 under the hood. The owners reserved FE block CSX813 in advance of this car being built. These cars are built on an improved version of the vintage 60s big block Cobra chassis. This unique example is powered by an all-aluminum Shelby FE 482 cubic inch side oiler that was dyno-tuned to 628 horsepower and 626 ft/lbs of torque. Shifting duties are handled by a 5 speed Tremec TKO-600 with overdrive. Estimated 0-60 times are well under four seconds with quarter mile times deep into the 11 second zone. Top speed of 190+ mph.
