This was the pinnacle of luxury, with a wheelbase of 141.3 inches and weighing 5,345 pounds it is powered by a 431 cu in V16 engine producing 185 HP backed by a 3-speed transmission, and is capable of 100 MPH. The twin down-draft carburetors, dual ignition, coil spring independent wishbone front suspension, live axle leaf spring rear suspension, and duo-servo Bendix four-wheel hydraulic brakes were state of the art. At $5,550 it cost more than 7 times that of a 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe.
