Erics Muscle Cars is proud to offer this INCREDIBLE tribute of a 1969 Camaro Lemans Blue ZL 1 ! This number 1 car has never seen rain or water since it's restoration 75 miles from NEW. It was painstakingly built over the last 5 years with intentions of competing in the FAST and Supercarraces stock appearing category. Car was completely stripped, media blasted, epoxy primed with many new body panels, still retains original roof, firewall, rockers, majority of floors etc. Body is now 100% rust free front to back top to bottom. Extremely nice bodywork and paint, very straight. Car is detailed in correct and correct appearing colors of components. Assembled with the utmost care and research to assure either correct replacement or refinished original fasteners, using only the best parts available. 95% or better original appearing fasteners used, only deviation would be for any aftermarket items(converter bolts and head studs come to mind).Tens of thousands of dollars of new parts. This is NOT a crate zl1 by any stretch! Engine uses a modern zl1 block(purchased new) with substantial improvements to increase strength and cubic inch. Heads began as vintage NOS 074's that have also undergone several improvements for strength and power potential. Intake is correct appearing 198. All top notch internal components assembled with accuracy and precision, absolutely no shortcuts taken! All new custom th400 and converter, moser heavy duty 12 bolt with correct vent tube and brake line retainers, etc etc etc..... Complete parts inventory, receipts and hundreds of in progress photos available to serious parties. Vehicle runs on race quality fuel in it's present configuration. If buyer wishes I would consider removing engine and rebuilding into a "pump gas" friendly configuration. I consider this my "rendition" of a Zl1 as I did take a few liberties in it's construction. It still follows very closely how car would appear in 1969. One such liberty is the lack of wood grain dash combined with the deluxe interior. I just prefer the black dash but love the white houndstooth...so best of both..at least to my taste. I would consider changing subtle items like this to buyer with adequate deposit if so desired. Cost to build far exceeds asking price! Whether for show or go this car fits the need. Your buddy with his 2012 zl1 will be in for quite a surprise when you pop the hood looking all 60's era dead stock then leaving him in your mirrors using 6 inch wide tires! It just can't be! Or can it? I would happily discuss the car in detail with prospective buyers.
