| Vehicle Description |
| The car is a 49 Coupe ( Sedan ) so it has rear window vents, has less than 88K original miles, stock 239 with 3 on the tree, new clutch, new wide whites, the dash is to die for, RUST is not a big issue with the car considering how Shoeboxes usually rust. There is surface rust on the floors but no holes we can find, we've only found a few pencil size holes in the trunk area above the fuel tank. The tank has been removed and hot tanked, lines cleaned, carb rebuilt. She runs good but needs to be fine tuned. The steering is excellent ( doesn't wander ), new dual exhaust. The interior is fair, meaning the mohair is good for now but it most likely will deteriate in time. Yes we found it in a storage building so critters were present but everthing is working fine. Someone primered the pass side ( I can't tell you why ) but there are some dents( super easy fix's ) in the panel behind the passenger door, the rocker panels have some dents but not rusted thru, the right rear quater has some rust below where the rocker panel meets the quarter. The rest of the body is in good shape, grill is very good. She is still 6 volt and starts everytime without a blink. We do not need to sell but I have another 49 that I want to go thru and do not want to molest this car. Call 541-447-4941 and ask for Randy or email and we do return them as well. Solid car with near perfect restoration options. |
