1967 brought all new styling for the Grand Prix. The results were Bigger and More Massive than ever before. The 67 Grand Prix also received hidden headlights, hidden windshield wipers and pinstriping.
This 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix was purchased Brand New by a gentleman for his daughter as a graduation present. She drove it to college then it was parked in a garage. It was used very little until 1988 and again in 1997. It was then brought to the gentleman's son home in Dallas, Texas where it received a Frame Off Restoration. The Engine was replaced in 1974 and has been completely rebuilt along with the transmission all the steering, bushings, rubber products and brand new interior. It is a One Family Owned Vehicle. The Restoration took two years and then the Grand Prix was taken back to the Gentleman's house in Arkansas. The daughter drove it to her 40 year class reunion and then it was brought back here to Dallas, Texas where it has been stored.
The Exterior has the Original Color of Regimental Red, Ivory White Cordova Top, Sport Stripes, Soft Ray Tinted Glass on all windows, Door Edge Guards, L/H Remote Outside Mirror, Fender Skirts, Dual Exhaust, Decor Moulding, Deluxe Wheel Discs and Cornering Lamps.
The Interior features Ivory Vinyl Interior, Strato Bench Seat, Custom Front and Rear Seat Belts, Visor Vanity Mirror, Roof Rail and Reading Lamps, Push Button Radio, Rear Seat Speaker, Safeguard Speedometer, Tilt Steering Wheel, Front and Rear Floor Mats.
Mechanically this Grand Prix features the 400 V8 265 HP Engine, Turbo Hydramatic Transmission, Factory Air Conditioning, Dual Stage Air Cleaner, Wonder Touch Power Steering, Wonder Touch Power Brakes, and the Ride and Handling Package which includes springs, shocks and stabilizer bar.
The new owner will also recieve the PHS documentation on this car.
Included with the photos are photos of the vehicle when purchased new and pictures of the vehicle during the restoration.
