1989 Pontiac - 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am Indy 500 Pace Car

Collector cars are great, but what about a great collector car that has great performance and is affordable. This car was produced for two reasons - first, to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Trans Am and then secondly to also serve as the Official Pace Car of the 73rd Indianapolis 500. It should also be mentioned that at that time it was the first pace car that did not have to be modified to obtain the performance levels required to pace the race.
