The body was removed,the frame was blasted and repainted,it has a Diplomat rear end.New dual master cylinder,power brake booster,steel fuel and brake lines.Front shock mounts were moved to the frame.This car drives straight down the road at 70 miles an hour.
Short block,5.2 liter(318) Magnum small block V8 with roller cam and lifters.Heads: 4323302(swirl port)matched w/flat top pistons to provide 9.3 cr.Intake/:Edelbrock performer w/Holly 650(4150)vacuum secondary's and electric choke&trick kit.Stewart Warner Electric fuel pump&filter mounted in spare tire well.Radiator: the original tanks were recored with a 4-core radiator. Ingition:new chrysler electronic ignition set w/vacuum advance distributor. Exhaust:cast iron Dart manifolds w/new 2" all the way back w/small turbo mufflers. Transmission:Torque Flight 727,completely rebuilt 7/25/2010.B&M Mega shifter. Rear end:8 1/4" Sure track,new 11" brakes. Electrical:All gauges are original and have been converted to a 12 volt system.Elecric wiper kit installed.Park & taillight sockets replaced w/ dual filament 3rd brake light added to back window and have also added turn signals.All new headlight,brake and battery switches.Bose speakers mouted in the back package shelf.New gel battery w/ cut off switch. Wheels&Tires:New 225 70R15's w/ matching spare.15x8 police car wheels that have been powder coated. New dual master cylinder w/ residual pressure valves on both lines.It has been converted to disk brakes already. Original back seat,headliner,door panels,dash board w/radio.I have the original front seat that needs to be redone. New heater and defroster,also has A/C that blows cold.
This car gets alot of looks everywhere it goes and has even taken some trophies at the area car shows.Lots of leg and seat room.Excellent ride..
