DESCRIPTION

1975 Triumph Trident T160
This bike was purchased over 20 years ago and has been ridden and maintained by that same person.

Several years ago he had the tank repainted in his school colors, which work rather well on a British bike.

When he first purchased the bike it had a single exhaust and in his words was a real dog. He was ready to sell it then, thinking what he had heard about these bikes being real screamers was false. However, in speaking with several Brit bike aficionados, learned that the exhaust was very important to how these 740cc triples breathed and installed a quad into two exhaust and along with a rebuild and tune on the Amal carbs, really woke this bike up. He loved it and became his bike of choice when heading out on a ride. Aside from those bits and set of new Dunlop Roadmaster tires, this bike is original and has just 15,500 miles on her.

As a 75, this bike has an electric start which DOES work correctly, 5 speed transmission and disc brakes front and rear.

This bike isn't a show bike that is trailered to events, this bike has been ridden and very well maintained so she shines nicely but does have a flaw here or there.

Some basic specs: 740CC, Electric start, 58 HP, 504lbs, 5 speed left side shift, twin pot 10" disc brakes front and rear, triple 26mm Amal carburetors.

A review written recently says "These are great bikes for anyone who wants a classic ride which will go like stink, handle brilliantly, make fabbo noises and turn heads wherever it’s parked. The barely contained ‘whooooo…’ as the revs build is a great roar and encourages you to go far too fast, which is a rare thing with bikes of this generation."

If you're ready for a classic Brit bike to make "fabbo" noises with, this turn key Trident is for you. Fully sorted and ready to hop on and enjoy the ride.

Asking price is $10,000
