| Vehicle Description |
| MotoeXotica has the rare privilege of offering this amazing 1952 DeSoto Firedome 8. Here is an eye catcher with original Hemi that turns heads where she goes. Complete with fluid drive, factory turn signals and back up lights, flashy chrome and refurbished interior with wood grain look dash. This car is from the dry state of New Mexico. The car has what is believed to be the original 291 Firedome with 3 speed manual transmission and is resplendent in its blue paint, beautiful tan interior, and stunning chrome work. Whats more, it comes from the dry state of New Mexico and it has a Hemi! The inside of the car features tan upholstery which has been restored to an extremely high standard. The front and rear bench seats are in great condition with no rips or stains showing. The carpets, dash and headliner are also in very good order. The lights, horn and wipers work well on this car. The AM Radio appears to be original to the car. The exterior of this incredible car presents itself very well indeed. The paint is in good condition with some chips and scratches. Both the front and rear chrome bumpers look great. The front bumper shows some minor pitting and scratches. The chrome grill looks great with one very small ding. The underside of the car appears to be original and shows no sign of rust or repair. The door handles do show some pitting. The hubcaps and wheels show very well with wide white wall 7.60-15 4 ply tires. All tires have lots of tread life left. Under the hood, the original V8 Hemi starts instantly, idles evenly and runs down the road beautifully. The transmission compliments the motor very well and shifts up-and-down without fault. The braking feels very assured and the car steers perfectly. This is a rarely seen four door that can be driven, shown and enjoyed. It is safe to say this will give the new owner years of satisfaction and admiration. Yeah, its got a Hemi! This car is showing 20,067 miles and VIN is 55019567. This car is being sold on a mileage exempt New Mexico title. GET OUT AND DRIVE. NOTE: Chrysler produced the DeSoto from 1928 to 1961. The Hemi engine was added beginning in 1951 so this car was the second year for the Hemi, which came out in many Chrysler products. |
