If youre in the market for the ultimate second generation Camaro, this is the top of the mountain. Built for the 2005 Super Chevy Road Tour as a partnership between Super Chevy and Goodmark, every stage of the restoration was fully documented by Super Chevy. With the exception of the roof, every piece of sheet metal is from Goodmark. Slick House of Kolor paints grace the car with traditional yellow and red flames with a glossy black base. All trim and glass were new for the build and remain in showroom condition. Under the hood lies a potent 454cid small block V8 by Bill Mitchell/World Products. This is the very engine that introduced the world of high displacement small blocks to many enthusiasts. While the FAST fuel injection has been swapped in favor of a Holley 4-barrel and polished Weiand intake, everything else remains intact and functioning perfectly. The tremendous roar comes courtesy of Hedman long tube headers and Flowmaster mufflers. Underneath the car, a TCI Automotive 4L80E automatic transmission sends power to a Moser 12-bolt rear end stuffed with 3.73 gears. Up front, a Heidts subframe anchors the control arms and QA1 shocks. Out back, Competition Engineering traction bars, a Hotchkis sway bar and another set of QA1 shocks keep the rear planted. Power steering and power brakes make driving a pleasure. At the corners, 18" x 8" Cragar wheels are wrapped in Nitto rubber. Inside, a fully restored black interior features supportive bucket seats, a custom steering wheel and a healthy stereo featuring a trunk-mounted subwoofer.
